Important Truths

Let's be honest all Bible Truth is important:
Paul told Timothy In 2nd Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2nd Timothy 4:
2: Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4: And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

We are truly living in this period of time and it makes the Gospel more important than ever. It is now that we ought to be able to understand the importance of getting away from man made doctrines and go back to the old paths of the reformers and see the truth that they possessed. It has crippled Christianity and caused unbelievers to stumble over the divisions that are in the Churches. It is almost impossible to find a place to go to church because of so many differences in the beliefs about Christianity.
Mt:15:9: But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Our teachings must come from God and not from man. The only real truth is found in His Word.
Understanding Scripture is a must, but in our time not many Christians know how to find the understanding.
Romans 16: 25: Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26: But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
27: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen.

The reason there are so many different doctrines taught on the Bible, especially concerning prophecy, is the inability to discern the truth. Knowing how to read the Bible for correct interpretation of it is found in the way the early Christians understood to read it. To give a perfect understanding of this is to realize that we understand scripture by allowing the New Testament to give us the understanding of the Old Testament not the other way around. To interpret the New Testament from the Old is impossible because the Old Testament was shrouded in mystery. The Old Testament is needed because it was a shadow of things to come: the law and prophecies from it were also shrouded in mystery. With the New Testament to give us the revelation of the old we have something wonderful indeed. Together they make the perfect book: Gods' Word--"The Bible".
In the following teaching pages I will attempt to share some Bible Truths about a number of subjects and over a period of time I will add more and more as God helps me.

May God Bless you in your interest in God's Word.
